Artists

Alice Palser was born in Kenya 1938 and arrived in England 1957. She studied Art at Hornsey College of Art, specialising in painting and sculpture at The Slade.

Alice's work is diverse and eclectic and draws on her wonderful imagination, which is fuelled by drawing from nature, the human figure, ancient civilisations, and her doodles. The long elongated figures for which she is best known are evoked by memories of the tall nomadic tribes people of East Africa.

The figures are cast in bronze resin and copper rtesin and on some, layers of colour are added, making each beautiful piece unique. Her ONE FOOT is also cast in bronze resin and is recommended for both indoors and outside.
